ミシン愛好家によるグループ、マシン・キルト・アート・アソシエイツでは 毎年、Show ＆ Tell を開催し、作品発表をしています。こちらは2009年に4人のメンバーの中でキルトを回して完成させたラウンドロビンキルトです。（その後多忙のため脱退）
私は中心のスイレンの花をつくりました。とにかくポゥっとうかぶその静かな姿を神秘的に表現したくて、派手な色、装飾はまったく加えませんでした。
他のメンバーの皆さんがどのようにつなげていったのか・・・想像ができないくらいまとまったトップが帰ってきたときはとてもびっくりしました。 めずらしくキルティングに力を入れ、様々なラインによって水の動き、静けさを表現できるように頑張ってみました。お気に入りの一枚になりました。
Water lily
A round robin quilt in 2009.
I made the water lily flower for the central. I didn’t add any flashy colors or decorations because I wanted to express
its quiet appearance as a mysterious figure.
How the other members connected together… I was very surprised when I got the top that I couldn’t imagine.
I tried to quilt with extraordinary effort and try to express the movement and tranquility of the water through various lines. It became one of my favorites.
